I'm Sandy — I grow more than we can eat, bake more than we can finish, and hand most of it out the door. This is where I write about all of it: the harvests, the deer who don't ask permission, and everything in between.
Real, practical posts — no scrolling past a life story to find the actual tip.
I grow more than my family can eat on purpose. Handing someone a jar of pickles or a loaf of bread has always been how I say the things that are harder to say out loud — feeding people is my love language, and this garden is where most of that starts.
This is a homestead journal first: real harvests, real kitchen chaos, whatever the deer left me. Along the way I've built a few tools that solved problems I kept running into myself — they're here if useful, but the stories come first.
